Easter in the Garden Tablescape

Easter is just around the corner, right along with Spring! Join me at my table, where we take a peek into a spring garden with the Easter Bunny himself!!
My dapper bunny welcomes you to enjoy this wonderful time of new growth and Easter joy.

My tablescaping group is here as well, to share all of their inspiration for Spring.  Rita, from Panoply, is hosting this gathering of table enthusiasts.  She does such a fabulous job of rounding us up to put on a fun hop for you all to be entertained by!  All links to the participating blogs will be at the end of my post.

It seems that my bunny is strolling through a garden that is showing signs of spring.

I purchased this ink block, garden print tablecloth from Amazon as the base of my table.  It is hard to see, but this tablecloth has a beautiful border.

Each place setting has a mixture of cabbage plates, blue gingham plates, and a variety of gingham bowls.
All of the plates, the charger, and the placemats were from my stash.
I used a simple white with a green scalloped-edge napkin.  The greenery napkin rings looked just a little too plain, so I got out my glue gun and added a few of the tiny blue flowers.  You will see these same flowers tucked into the greenery down the middle as well.
It would not be spring without a nesting bird and a few eggs, right?  So, I tucked a few into the centerpiece!
Some small potted tulips and cabbage plants are among the plants Mr. Bunny is eyeing!
So I offered him some Blueberry Cream Cheese Bread!
Hopefully, this will lure him away from any plants.

Now that the whole kitchen smells of yummy blueberry bread, here is a peek at my hutch set for spring.

You can see the latest addition to my dish collection on my hutch, the pink cabbage plates and bowls.
Thank you to Hobby Lobby for offering an affordable pink cabbage line of dishware this Spring.  You will see this on my table soon!!

Let's hop on over to the other blogs participating in this Spring event. If you are following along, The Little Yellow Corner Store is up next.  If you just started, then kick back and enjoy all the inspiration!

  4. One of the banes of my existence is trying to create a lovely centerpiece. Yours is magnificent! The bunny is the perfect centerpiece, but I love all the moss and grasses, and the little attention to detail like the little bird tucked in there. I have that same tablecloth in my Amazon shopping cart along with three others. I have been hesitant to buy any of them, but you may have convinced me to go ahead and take the plunge. I love your plate stack, and those bowls! So beautiful!

  10. Ann, your table is so springy and happily decorated! Yes, your color block tablecloth is very close to my print. I just love the affordable options for nice color blocks on Amazon, and I have a couple. I can't believe you already had all the rest of your elements already in your stash - great job! There's something about the scalloped edges of things like your napkins that always get my attention, love the look. The center runner of greens with the bunny, bird, nest and potted tulips bring it all together for a fun spring look. Love the new pink cabbage dishes too! Your cottage dining space is super cute. Thanks so much for joining the hop again and showcasing your fun style.

  14. Oh Ann...be still my heart. I have always loved blue and green as I once hand painted a blue and green chess set and my master bedroom was also blue and green... so I was smitten with your table. The adorable mr. bunny caught my attention and made me think of Mr. McGregor's garden and Peter Rabbit. And the sweet little bird makes me smile. I love birds and he looks so real. The pink cabbage dishes caught my eye but I am going to have to be strong...I really don't have room for more dishware but they are certainly pretty and I do have the green vintage Majolica Cabbage pieces, Sigh! Have a great and wonderful Easter.πŸ‡πŸŒΈπŸ¦‹

  19. Ann, I love your springtime/Easter table with the pastel colors, the patterns, the plate stack, the napkins! The tablecloth is perfect in its organic design and color and I could easily become obsessed by it πŸ˜„. The Easter bunny seems to combine the spirit of Beatrix Potter and Lewis Carroll's rabbits as he strides through the garden. He's sure to spark lots of conversation around the table! Lovely and cheery! Happy spring

  20. I feel like this post was made for me. My favorite colors in the house are greens and blues and I am a huge fan of gingham. Therefore; your china stuck a cord in my heart and all the decorations you had to go with them. So very pretty. Not only that but the recipe for your blueberry bread sounds amazing. If I weren't dieting trying to lose my winter weight, I would be heading to the market to buy the ingredients. 😊
