Happy Plants by Honey Bee Stamps

When the Christmas decorations came down and I was pulling out all my houseplants to desperately make my home look a little warmer - I did the same with my paper projects!

I started with some plain white cardstock scraps.

Snow Days - New Year, New Cards

Hi All,  I am in snowy Ohio sharing some cards made with Papertry Ink's Build-a-hat Dies

I have been having fun making these winter caps with some fun sentiments appropriate for the conditions outside!

It has been a while since I have posted any of my cards,  I have decided to start sharing some of my card creations using the different companies I have been making some purchases from.  I am not paid by these companies - I just enjoy their products - and want to share ideas.  I will be putting links in the posts to the main products that I have used.  Many of the papers that I will be using may be old, and I may stick some old gems or ribbon on a card as well.

When I laid out a piece of cardstock from all of these colors
So Saffron | Sweet Sorbet | Tahitian Tide | Orchid Oasis | Shaded Spruce
I thought it looked like a Cinco de Mayo party!!  So I immediately went to the Taco Fiesta stamp set.

Autumn Goodness - Plaid or Plain?

The new Autumn Goodness Bundle is such a beautiful set to use for creating cards for the fall season.
I made two cards using the same stamps and dies just different backgrounds - you tell me - Do you like the Plaid or the Plain???
🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂
The plaid card uses the Plaid Tidings 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper along with Just Jade and Cinnamon Cider Card stock.
I used a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock, Pool Party and Cinnamon Cider Ink  and my Water Painters to make the background.  On another piece of Whisper White Card stock I stamped the two images with Cinnamon Cider ink and colored in my corn stalks and harvest fruits and vegetables with my Stampin' Blends.  Both images were cut with the coordinating dies and popped up with dimensionals.  The sentiment is stamped in Cinnamon Cider, cut with the Ornate Frames die and popped up as well.
Here are the supplies I used for the plaid card:

🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂
For a little more sophisticated look I used a more muted color palette.
This one uses some texture for more interest.  I used a Soft Suede cardstock base as well as a layer of Soft Suede cardstock run through the new Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder to give it just a little bit of texture.  There is a small layer of Mint Macaron, then the Very Vanilla background.  The corn stalks and harvest fruits and vegetables are stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink, then colored in soft tones with the Stampin' Blends and cut with the coordinating dies.  I popped up both images with dimensionals.
These are the supplies I used for this card:

🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂
So are you a plaid lover or do you like a more sophisticated look?
As you can tell from the name of my blog that I love plaids - so it is no wonder that one of my favorite things in this Holiday Mini Catalog is the Plaid Tidings DSP!!
It has a wide variety of plaids in it so it can be used for many different occasions.
Look for another installment of Plaid or Plain coming soon!!

Nothing's Better Than - Stampin' Dreams June Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin' Dreams June Blog Hop!
I am Ann Krucek, from Malvern, Ohio, USA.

I have created some fun projects from the Nothing's  Better Than Stamp Set. Since I am a Chocolate lover, this bundle was a no brainer for me- it went on my list  of must haves immediately.
🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
The first card uses the In Good Taste DSP along with the Mason Jar Shaker Domes to hold some of those adorable chocolate chip cookies from the Nothing's Better Than Bundle.
I added a bit of ribbon on the jar from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack.
🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
The mini pizza boxes are perfect for a single cookie favor,

I found these Mrs. Fields Cookies at the Dollar Tree - they come individually wrapped with three in the box.
This is where I got my color inspiration from as well.
The red stripe paper is from the Play Pets DSP.  I am loving the new In Color - Cinnamon Cider - I used both the ink and the Stampin' Blends for the tag.
🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
The last card I made is the window of a Chocolate Store.
I used the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder and then brushed a little Whisper White ink over the Read Red Cardstock for the building wall.  The shelves are lined with the a little strip of the Square Vellum Doilies.  The awning is a piece of retired DSP.

I hope you enjoyed my cards and favor!

Now on to the links for the hop - just click on the InLinkz below and they will all pop up!
You will be able to check out all of the other clever ideas from everyone else.

Kre8tors Blog Hop - June Masculine Card

Welcome to Corner of Plaid and Paisley, I am Ann Krucek from Malvern, Ohio, USA - where today I am taking part in the  Kre8tors June Blog Hop.  We are an international group focusing on sharing our creative Stampin' Up! ideas and projects. This month the theme is a Masculine Card.

I made two different cards using the Campology stamp set.
The first cards sets a camping scene on the outside,
and a little pop up action on the inside!

⛺⛺⛺⛺⛺⛺⛺⛺⛺⛺⛺⛺

This masculine joy fold card has a fun little surprise inside!

When opening up the card you start to reveal more camping equipment,
Then fully open, reveals your camping nemesis!
I hope you enjoyed my cards - now on to more inspiration for masculine cards.
Rochelle is up next!

Roll Call List

Here are the supplies I used for each of today's cards:

For the joy fold card - I used the tiny buttons from the All Dressed Up Dies and two mini dimensionals to make my closure on the front.  I also cut a larger circle of Crumb Cake to stamp and color the tent and coffee pot on and placed it on top of the card base so that the color bleed of the Stampin' Blends did not show on the back side of the cardstock.

If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator - I would love to be your coach!  You can shop with me 24/7 here.  Ask me about becoming a Demonstrator!!

Paper Pumpkin - May 2020 Alternatives

Just a quick post to show some alternative cards made with the May Kit - A Kit in Color.
If you are not familiar with Paper Pumpkin - it is a Stampin' Up! monthly subscription paper craft kit that is all inclusive.  It comes with stamps, paper, ink spot and embellishments, you do not need any other tools to make the cards or project that the kit is made for.

Here are the supplies that were included in the May Kit:
This is typical of each kit - the majority of the kits are card kits, occasionally there are kits with favors or something a bit different.  As you can see you get printed paper, envelopes, glue dot, ink, stamps and embellishments.  In this kit there were supplies to make 8 full sized cards and 4 note cards.  The paper is all precut and ready to punch out the shapes.

There are instructions included to show you how to make these cards.

OK - now that I told you that you don't need any other supplies or tools to make the cards in the kit - the cards- The alternatives I showed in the first photo  - I did use some other tools.

I am listing the stamp sets I used for each of the sentiments on my cards:
Dream Big - Over the Moon
Hey - is included in the kit
Here's to those who inspire us - Part of My Story
It's your time to shine - Daisy Lane
I Can't Thank You Enough -So Sentimental
Thank you So Very Much - Butterfly Gala

I hope you got some inspiration for changing up the kit cards a bit.

Stampin' Up! New 2020-21 Catalog Sneak Peak #2 - with Forever Greenery

Welcome all to another session of sneak peaks from the new Stampin' Up! 2020-21 Annual Catalog!
Today I am highlighting The Forever Fern Bundle and the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper.
These three cards use just small part of the fabulous Forever Greenery Suite.

I just wanted to make some simple cards to prove just how beautiful this Designer Series Paper truly is.  This first card is all about the DSP!
I did use the new Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder for the white textured layer.
The matted green layer is Mossy Meadow card stock, then the top layer is just one of the beautiful pieces of the Forever Greenery DSP.  This comes in a pack of 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 double sided  12"X12"  papers one more gorgeous than the next!
🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿
My next card uses another pretty piece from that same pack of DSP
With this card I also used one of the two Greenery Embossing Folders on Garden Green cardstock for that textured strip down the front.  I used one of my old favorite sentiments from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set which is still current in the new catalog.  The leaf stamp is one of the distinctive stamps in the Forever Fern stamp set.  These stamps have such beautiful shading on them, as you can see more of that on my next card.
I think the eucalyptus stamp in this set is my favorite. I don't think the lighting on this photo does it justice. I used several different green inks on the stamp for the look I got below.
The card base is the new in color, Just Jade!!  Love this color!
I used two more selections from the DSP pack that bring in all sorts of shades of greens and blues.
All of the stem die cuts are from the Forever Fern Bundle- Forever Flourishing - which is a fabulous pack of 14 dies perfect to mix and match with all of your floral stamps!
See my last post - with the sunflower- they were used there as well.

The Just Jade Gingham Ribbon is from the Flowers for Every Season Combo Pack and the little dot embellishments are the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots.

I will to continue to show projects made from new products from this catalog that is just hitting our creative little hands!  Ordering from this catalog will start on June 3rd.

I would love to be your Stampin' Up! coach if you don't have a demonstrator yet.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
