Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I find myself starting a new chapter in life at 65!! I am so grateful to the support of my children and my friends who have been by my side. I look forward to many more years of creative endeavors and hope to share more with you in the future! ReplyDeleteBeautiful table setting. Love all dishes displayed in your hutch as well!
ReplyDeleteOne of the banes of my existence is trying to create a lovely centerpiece. Yours is magnificent! The bunny is the perfect centerpiece, but I love all the moss and grasses, and the little attention to detail like the little bird tucked in there. I have that same tablecloth in my Amazon shopping cart along with three others. I have been hesitant to buy any of them, but you may have convinced me to go ahead and take the plunge. I love your plate stack, and those bowls! So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI adore this bunny and your centerpiece! He made me smile throughout the post! The stack of dishes is so pretty and perfect for spring - And your bread looks delish!

I adore the garden print tablecloth that shows off your beautiful plate stack of cabbageware and gingham plates and bowls. It is amazing how adding a few tiny blue flowers to greenery elevates it. I would love a slice of blueberry cream cheese bread and thanks for sharing the recipe. Happy Spring and a Blessed Easter!

ReplyDeleteAnn, your table is so springy and happily decorated! Yes, your color block tablecloth is very close to my print. I just love the affordable options for nice color blocks on Amazon, and I have a couple. I can't believe you already had all the rest of your elements already in your stash - great job! There's something about the scalloped edges of things like your napkins that always get my attention, love the look. The center runner of greens with the bunny, bird, nest and potted tulips bring it all together for a fun spring look. Love the new pink cabbage dishes too! Your cottage dining space is super cute. Thanks so much for joining the hop again and showcasing your fun style.
ReplyDeleteAnn, first thing....I love the happy, go-lucky Mr. Bunny as your centerpiece of your table. Immediately, I felt that I was about to hear a fairy tale. He is so incredibly darling. Perfect to match all of the blue color in your table design. Your choice of this beautiful tablecloth certainly give a gorgeous foundation to the green color in your table with your greenery surrounding Mr. Bunny and your green pieces in your plate stack. I love everything about it, especially down to all the details including your green trimmed scalloped napkins. So playful and cheerful. Happy Easter!

ReplyDeleteI love your garden theme, Ann. Everything looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh Ann...be still my heart. I have always loved blue and green as I once hand painted a blue and green chess set and my master bedroom was also blue and green... so I was smitten with your table. The adorable mr. bunny caught my attention and made me think of Mr. McGregor's garden and Peter Rabbit. And the sweet little bird makes me smile. I love birds and he looks so real. The pink cabbage dishes caught my eye but I am going to have to be strong...I really don't have room for more dishware but they are certainly pretty and I do have the green vintage Majolica Cabbage pieces, Sigh! Have a great and wonderful Easter.ππΈπ¦
ReplyDeleteGood looking blueberry bread. Someone forgot the bunny statue's pants, he looks like a flasher.
ReplyDeleteAnn, I love your Easter in the garden theme! Mr. Easter Bunny in his coat and hat is so cute - he looks like he is saying "Top of the morning to you". Happy Spring Ann, to you and your Easter Bunny! He IS dapper! And I love the little garden you made for him to stroll through – that’s so creative! Love your colors too. Blue and green are so perfectly spring. Mmmmm - Blueberry Cream Cheese Bread! Thanks for that recipe. It sounds delicious! And your springtime hutch is lovely. I can’t wait for the pink cabbage tablescape. Take care till then – always great hopping with you!
ReplyDeleteAnn, I love your springtime/Easter table with the pastel colors, the patterns, the plate stack, the napkins! The tablecloth is perfect in its organic design and color and I could easily become obsessed by it π. The Easter bunny seems to combine the spirit of Beatrix Potter and Lewis Carroll's rabbits as he strides through the garden. He's sure to spark lots of conversation around the table! Lovely and cheery! Happy spring
ReplyDeleteI feel like this post was made for me. My favorite colors in the house are greens and blues and I am a huge fan of gingham. Therefore; your china stuck a cord in my heart and all the decorations you had to go with them. So very pretty. Not only that but the recipe for your blueberry bread sounds amazing. If I weren't dieting trying to lose my winter weight, I would be heading to the market to buy the ingredients. π
