Holiday Catalog Sneak Peak - Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop

Welcome to my first time hopping with the Stampin Dreams  Blog Hop!!
I am Ann Krucek from the United States of America.
I am happy to join this international group of creative stampers! This month we are doing a Holiday Catalog Sneak Peak.  So you should be inspired by lots of creativity with the new products.

I chose to focus on fall with this post.  I used the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper in both of these cards.

The first card is actually using a die set that is featured in the Toile Tidings Suite, called All-Around Wreath Dies. I used lots of layering with card stock, foil paper and just a hint of DSP.
I also added some more texture by using the Braided Linen Trim tucked in with the leaves.  The sentiment is from the Gather Together Stamp Set.

The second card I did was again using the Come Gather Together DSP.  But this time I used the Gather Together Stamp Set and the Gathered Leaves Dies.
I inked up my dies when I ran them through to cut them.  So I used Pretty Peacock paper and used a sponge to put white ink on my leaf die,  then did the opposite - I used Whisper White paper and used a sponge to put Pretty Peacock ink on my leaf die.  I love the effect it gives the leaves.
I stamped the pumpkins with Soft Sued on to the wood look paper and used the Braided Linen Trim again for some pumpkin vines.  I wrapped the trim around a narrow paint brush and put a very very light coat of glue on the outer side and let it sit and dry for a long time.  Don't put too much glue on or it will stick to your paint brush!!

Please be sure to check out all of the blogs on our hop today!  Here is the list of those participating:

  6. Yes, the wreath is my favorite, but I dont want cards number 2 to feel left out. I think those line drawn pumpkins are so great and the reason I am buying those stamps. I love the colors and hadn't realized there were so many cool papers in this group. Thanks.

  7. Both of your cards are just beautiful! What dies did you use for the leaves and the other fillers. They all go so well together.
