Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. What started as a creative outlet is now my full time passion, I am now an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin' Up! I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I have a wonderful supportive family; a great husband, three kids, and two grandsons. We are very active with our church and volunteering with various groups . My husband and I bought a fixer upper on a small lake several years ago and are having fun updating it. We enjoy the water and golfing together. Thanks for stopping by :)

I am crazy for your mashup of prints and muted tones, Ann! You really do such a fine job of setting a sharp table, and I love having the peek beyond to your mantel and stepback cabinet full of fall goodies too. Your table and home are very cozy and inviting. The chipmunk's adorable....as long as he's on the table and not in the garden!
ReplyDeleteI have styled my table without any pumpkins too! I love the neutral styling of your table. In no way does your table lack punch, but you have done it with done it with texture and prints. The centerpiece is so lush, and the plates with the embossed oak leaves and acorns, BRAVO!
ReplyDeleteAnn, you are the queen of mixing delightful patterns and textures. I'm always impressed with your" stampin up" items too! Very cute.
ReplyDeleteYour mantle vignette is eye-catching also. You have outdone yourself.
The little chipmonk was a cute touch for your grandson.
Ann, I always eagerly look forward to your tablescapes. I love your blend of patterns and colors. This Fall tablescape is yet another of your fine work. It is so warm and cozy and exemplifies Autumn perfectly. Where do you find those gorgeous gingham plates? I can enjoy a beautiful Fall day without even leaving the dining room when I am at your table. My heart melts over your chipmunks and your embossed acorn and leaves white plates are stunning! And how fitting how your nut filled party favor containers. So sweet. Love your work.
ReplyDeleteOh so charming Ann! This table is doing a Fall happy dance! I love your color description morphing into food :) The stampin up favors are adorable! Ann, this is a charming table. I love the different textures and shades of brown. The nut favors are perfect! I'm going to remember that for a take home gift. I set a fall table this morning and went out and gathered up some leaves to scatter about. Here in TX, our fall leaves are simply brown! Thanks for sharing this table.
ReplyDeleteAnn, your fall table is stunning. I love all the layering of pattern, texture and fall colors. The chipmunks are precious. Awesome job.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I wish you'd list where you found your pieces. I haven't had any luck finding checked salad plates like that. Love them! It's all so pretty together. You did a great job.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteUsually I do list my sources - just forgot on this one. Most of the pieces I have had for a while. The plaid salad plates are actually the same plates I used for my summer tablescape found here-https://www.cornerofplaidandpaisley.com/2019/05/summer-garden-tablescape.html
I got them at the Ragon House warehouse sale in Bolivar, Ohio .
You just can't see the gardening items with the dessert plate on top.
The dessert plates are at least 6 or 7 years old - I purchased them at Butterchurn Kitchenwares in Walnut Creek Ohio - on clearance.
The tablecloth is the only thing really new - and I bought that at HomeGoods.
Probably not much help - since most of it is older and no longer available.
Ann, all your shades of brown are simply harmonious, energized by different patterns and textures. A cozy fall table to linger at -- perhaps with a cup of hot chocolate!
ReplyDeleteI love your stunning cream/brown tablescape--really beatiful. Where did you find the darling gingham check salad plates? They are so lovely.
