Stampin' Up! Thanks A Bunch - Sale- A-Bration Stamp set

Welcome to Corner of Plaid and Paisley were I am up to my elbows in orange ink from stamping out about 40 carrots!! And loving them!! These are made with the Thanks A Bunch Stamp set and several of the DSP pieces that are being offered through the limited time Sale-A-Bration catalog.

This stamp set is free with a purchase of $50 of merchandise while Sale-A-Bration continues through February 28th or supplies run out.

I wanted to make some thank you notes for my customers who have ordered from me this month and thought that using this set would be a perfect way to show several different layouts.

I did fussy cut all the carrots out - I really don't mind fussy cutting - one Hallmark Movie and I got quite a few carrots cut - Honestly it was more fun than cutting up real carrots for me!! I stamped out my carrots on the Stamparatus, making the 2 layer stamping very easy once you get the first one lined up. A mix of Pumpkin Pie and Pale Papaya ink was used - but honestly mostly Pumpkin Pie and then just stamp it several times to get the shading - which again, goes quickly and easy once you have it set up on your Stamparatus.

The first card is a Pumpkin Pie cardstock base.  The next layer is Pale Papaya card stock stamped with the Hand-Drawn Dots stamp set in Pumpkin Pie ink. Then I ran it through the Tasteful Textile embossing folder which happens to be on the clearance rack for $5.40 - it is one of my all time favorite embossing folders!  The green stripe across the middle is from the SALE-A-Bration Dandy Designs DSP, which is free with a $100 product purchase.  I just angled the ends of a simple strip of paper for the sentiment.

This next card starts with a Granny Apple Green cardstock base.  The mat piece is Pumpkin Pie cardstock that I ran through the Gingham Embossing folder.  I cut the chicken wire DSP from the Day at the Farm 12x12" DSP (which is another SALE-a-bration offering with a $50 purchase!!) with the Deckled Rectangles die.  The sentiment is made with the Layering Circles dies.  I used a mask for covering the carrot I stamped first to stamp the next one and so on to get the bunch look without the overlapping of ink.  I have some masking tape but you could also use a Post It note.  I also used that mask when I was stamping on the green stems to give those a nice clean look.  All of the carrots and sentiments on all of these cards are popped up with Dimensionals.

For the last card, I started with a Granny Apple cardstock base.  The next layer is Basic White cardstock stamped with little Pumpkin Pie carrot lines!  Then a wide vertical stripe of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, and then a stripe of DSP - which is also from SALE-A-Bration Dandy Designs DSP.  The sentiment like above was done with the Layering Circle Dies.  Don't forget your envelope!!  I love it when the stamp set has a small stamp that can be used on the inside of your card and on the envelope!

I hope this gives you some ideas on how to use the Thanks A Bunch stamp set!
