Welcome to Tomato Weekend!!
I am sharing some tomato cards today, and tomorrow I will be sharing a tomato tablescape.
These fun cards are made with The Greetery's Botanicuts Tomatoes die set. This was part of their new release in the La Dolce Vita Collection.
I used The Greetery's Checks Out stencil for the border background and the Cottage Tile for the background inside the arch. The little tile detail is from the Ciao Bella Borders stamp set.
The tomatoes took me several layers of ink blending to get a good tomato color, and then once I attached them to the vine, they really took shape!!
I made the second card with the same stencil border without the extra detail but ran this one through an old embossing folder to give that simple layer a bit of texture
The sentiments for both cards are from the Tomato Tomato Stamp set in the same collection by The Greetery.
I think this makes a cute birthday card for your favorite gardener!
