Tomato Tomahto- Let's make a table!

 Welcome to my Tomato Tablescape!  

If you missed my post yesterday with the tomato cards, you should know that this has been an all-tomato weekend for me. Not only did I do the cards and the table, but I spent some time in the kitchen making bruschetta and caprese salad with all the tomatoes I had!

We have had some beautiful, sunny days tucked between the humid or rainy days, so I took advantage of one of these sunny days to set a fun table.

On a recent trip to Hobby Lobby with my favorite enabler, Cheryl, I picked up these tomato plates at 66% off!  Her cue to me was: I am sure you could do something cute with these!!

I pulled out the whimsy in me and did lots of polka dots and checks!

After all, a tomato tablescape can't really be serious, can it?

That is why I felt that my pitcher of flowers deserved a skewer of cherry tomatoes popped into it!

Since my table is small, I kind of rely on my potting bench to carry the theme over.

I think I will be having my favorite summer meal this evening: bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches and corn on the cob!  Yum!
