Stamping Inkspiration Color Challenge Blog Hop

 How about a little  bit of Christmas in July? 

 I am participating in today's Stamping Inkspiration's Color Challenge Blog Hop.

The challenge was to include the colors of :

Wild Wheat | Sweet Sorbet | Pecan Pie | Cherry Cobbler | Pretty Peacock

I used the Cottage Wreaths stamp set that coordinates with the Country Wreaths Dies for this card. The base of the card is Cherry Cobbler cardstock. The next layer is Cherry Cobbler cardstock and I used one of the Decorative Masks, Sweet Sorbet Ink and and my Blending Brush to put the slightest plaid design on it - it is very subtle - I hope you can see it on my photo because it adds just a nice little bit of interest to the card.

I stamped a twig wreath with Pecan Pie ink, berries with Wild Wheat ink and die cut those pieces. Using my blender brushes again, I brushed some Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White cardstock then die cut my leafy branches out, I did the same for the bow in Wild Wheat.

Behind the bow is a piece of the 3/8" Textured Ribbon in Wild Wheat that has been frayed - keeping one side intact and it naturally just curved around - it is about an inch long - and I thought it brought a nice textured element behind the bow.

I used the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder for the Basic White Square that is matted with Wild Wheat cardstock. The Sentiment is from the Brightest Glow stamp set - so glad they carried over this set - it has some of the best Christmas Sentiments !
