Let's Go Shopping- Stamping Inkspirations Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge

Hi all! Welcome to the Corner of Plaid and Paisley where we are taking a break at this cute little diner made with the Let's Go Shopping Bundle!

I am participating in the Stamping Inkspirations Tic - Tac - Toe Challenge today.

We had to pick a row and use those items to meet the challenge.

I chose the far right row from top to bottom with Angle, Green and Twine.

I used Soft Seafoam Green for the base of my card and as well as stamping & cutting my store front on Soft Seafoam cardstock. I mounted my store front on Smoky Slate card stock that I ran through the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder.

I got the Angle from my Tic Tac Toe line in there by using the Countryside Corners Dies with my Basic Black cardstock as a frame.  I jazzed up those angled corners with the flourish stamp that comes with the Let's Go Shopping stamp set that fits in the window - but I used it in a little different way - doing some white embossing on those angled corners.

I stamped my windows out on white cardstock and fussy cut them out because the dies for the windows were a bit smaller for what I wanted to do and used my Black Stampin' Write marker to color in the window frames and light fixtures.  The greenery has an Old Olive layer with the solid die, then a  Granny Apple green leafy layer that I shaded a bit with my Granny Apple green Stampin's Blends.  The flowers are from the Dainty Delight Dies - cut from a stem die with tiny flower cluster with Highland Heather Cardstock then I just snipped off the tiny flowers to use on my greenery.  I finished the card off with the embossed sentiment with the little white bakers twine to get the last square of my Tic Tac Toe in there!

This little store front set reminds me of my own storefront icon in my sidebar!!  Maybe that is why I was so drawn to the set.   I think it will make some cute gift card holders as well as cards.  My storefront is open 24/7 and for the month of June there is a DSP Sale going on for you to take advantage of 15% off most of the current DSP!

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  2. Wonderful card design. Love all the detail and the pop of color the green adds to the design.
