Global Design Project #299 - The Sky is the Limit

The Sky is the Limit!!!  This is the theme for this week's Global Design Project.

I choose to make a fun card featuring the dog from the Right Behind You stamp set enjoying a summer day with his buddy under some fluffy clouds!

The challenge was to create a card with sky!  I went for a whimsical polka dot layered sky using the Basic Borders Dies, DSP from the You're a Peach pack, Balmy Blue ink and one of my Blending Brushes.  I added a few Adhesive Backed Sequins- Artistry Blooms.

Don't these funky little dogs look like they are enjoying their afternoon of blue skies on a peaceful, grassy hillside!?!

The grass hill is DSP from the Host Party Pack Pattern Party.  ( I love this pack of paper - well worth having a party for!!)  The grass is stamped with Granny Apple Green Ink with a stamp from the Nature's Beauty Set.

The sunny sentiment is cut from the Layering Circle dies of Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry DSP and popped up with dimensionals.  The dogs are colored with Stampin' Blends and then fussy cut.

I hope you enjoyed this fun little card!

Don't forget the special on DSP this month!!

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.
