Sweet Peach Summer Table

Welcome everyone to my Sweet Peach Summer Table!

I am so excited to be back with this group of table stylist.  Much thanks to Rita from Panopoly for hosting our group and putting this great blog hop together!!  All the links to the other blogs participating will be at the end of my post.  Be sure to check them all out - we all surprised by how everyone interprets the theme given - which this time is Summer!!

Peaches are a sweet summer treat for us!  So here is a table and treats to inspire your senses!
I wish we had smell-a-vision with this post!!  Between the fresh peaches and the little candles that are in the favors kitchen smells of such sweet peaches.
I started with a neutral pallet for the placemats, chargers, napkins and napkin rings, but with some needed texture for visual interest.  I have had these scalloped dark peach plates for years, I love their interesting shape.  The little peach salad plates are new this season from Hobby Lobby - each melamine plate was only $3.99 less 40% off on sale - so for pretty easy on the wallet!

I topped those peach salad plates with these adorable little chunky wood cutting boards that I found in one of my favorite shops in Amish Country - The Peddler.  I had a Mother's Day gift card that was burning a hole in my pocket that took care of these cuties!
Stampin' Up! has the cutest peach paper and stamp set out right now!  I used this You're A Peach Suite to make the majority of my decorations.  The little favor jars are from included in this Suite of products so I adorned them with some paper and a cute little stamped label.  I found the most fabulous smelling votive candles to fit inside these little favor jars, when you open the lids of the jar you get blasted with the yummiest wave of peach goodness.

Our summer is a hot and steamy one already - we got hit with the humidity this week.  We had so little rain these last two months that many of the boats here on the lake are not able to be put in yet.  But it is making up for that lack of rain the last few days.  I wanted to do this table out on the deck but the weather just wasn't cooperating. On the plus side of that - I am able to decorate my mantel then as well.
I added some peach stamped tags to my greenery garland and some triangle pendant flags to my farm sign to make it a bit more peachy!!

I even cut a piece of peach printed paper for underneath the pie so there is no doubt what flavor this pie is!
I didn't even use a third of the Stampin' Up! You're A Peach Designer Series Paper pack that sells for $11.50  All of this is a very inexpensive way to decorate.

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  4. Ann, your sweet peach table inspiration has me craving peaches. I bought a few yesterday, the first of our local hill country peaches that we favor. They are not yet ripe, so I have to wait a day or so. Thanks for sharing these clever ideas. Your table is peachy keen! It's a pleasure to hop with you.

The different shaped plates paired with both a solid and a pattern really is eye catching! And, the miniature cutting boards are so cute! Don't even get me started on the pie! What fun patterned paper to really make it pop!

  12. I knew as soon as I saw your title that I was going to love this tablescape, Ann, and does not disappoint! The fact is, I adore everything peach - the fruit and any way it's used for eating, the fragrance (yes, I used to wear it as a much-loved bath & body indulgence), and the even the color (a personal style favorite of mine). Your combination of the inspiration plates with your Stampin' Up creativity is a consistent method in your styling, and I always look forward to seeing your flair. Love all the natural elements you've used to ground the look on the table too. Thanks for being a part of the party. Happy Summer!

  13. Ann, delightful tablescape with a peach theme. I love the shape of the orange plates and the cute peach salad plates look great with the white swirled chargers. The added textures of neutral napkins, napkin rings, straw chargers, placemats add visual interest and call attention to your cute cutting boards and stampin up jars.
I always enjoy your tables. Happy Summer!

  14. Oh Ann, bee still my heart! Love your unique theme and charming and inviting table and matching mantle. Those little peach plates are so sweet. And those little, thick wooden bread boards are so special and a wonderful addition to your table. My brain is buzzing with ways to use them, including in lieu of appetizer plates for a charcuterie spread. Wish I had the Peddler in Pittsburgh! As always, your crafted elements enhance the entire setting.
