Prince and Princess - Stamping Inkspiration June Blog Hop

I think little girls would love getting this card in the mail!!

I am joining Angie's Stamping Inkspiration Blog Hop and this month's theme is Anything Water Related. I chose the swan from the Prince & Princess stamp set to work with for this challenge.

If you are coming from the Stamping Inkspiration Blog Hop - Welcome!!
I am Ann Krucek,  from Ohio USA.  I am happy to be participating in this June Blog Hop.

The main star of my card is the beautiful Swan and her crown from the Prince & Princess stamp set.
For the water related segment made and enchanted pond for the lovely swan by using the Bloom Where You are Planted DSP, some of the Potted Succulents Dies, the Artistically Inked stamp set.

I used the masking technique and cut a mask for my swan and used both the water rings stamp from the Prince  & Princess stamp and the ink blobs (for lack of a better word!) from the Artistically Inked stamp set with Balmy Blue ink to create the water on the beautiful hanging vine DSP from the Bloom Where You're Planted DSP pack.

I fussy cut my swan stamped on Basic White Cardstock and colored in her beak and crown.  You can't tell from these photos - but I also used some Wink of Stella on the swan so she sparkles (although it is hard to see in these photos)  and topped her crown with 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Some vines were cut with a die from the Potted Succulents Dies from both Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent Card stock to get a bit of a 3d effect with the hanging vines. I also popped 3 of the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels  - Evening Evergreen among the vines.

The sentiment is a die cut, again from Potted Succulents dies - although I ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine twice to shorten it up some and stamped the sentiment in Soft Succulent ink.   I added a cute little bow made from the 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon in Soft Succulent and finished it off with three clear gems in the water from the Elegant Faceted Gems.

All of this was matted with a Balmy Blue card stock mat and adhered to a Basic White card base.
