Cinco de Mayo Tablescape Fun!

Every year I pull out my most colorful dishes for Cinco de Mayo!

We love to celebrate Cinco de Mayo just because we love all the color and food involved!

This year we are having a little fun with this cute little Llama who looks like she likes to celebrate just as much as we do! I found these melamine llama plates at Hobby Lobby and I paired them up with things I already had.

When I ran across this llama down in Amish Country I knew she would go with my plates! Then I made it a little flowered necklace from some Stampin' Up! cardstock scraps and a few different die cuts, so that she is ready to party with us!

Some bright flowers, cactus and succulents surround the little Llama for my centerpiece.
And what is Cinco de Mayo with out some Dos Equis!
We all need to put a little fun and color in our lives!!
I hope you find a fun way to add more to your life!

Enjoy!

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  1. I saw those plates at Hobby Lobby and LOVED THEM!!! You’ve done a magnanimous job creating a Cinco de Mayo table with them as the star of the show!!! I think that’s part of the draw of the celebration for me: all the bright colors! After the drab winter we’ve had...what a great thing to have joyful colors on board!!!!!
