Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!

I love celebrating Cinco de Mayo!
I love the colors and the food that Cinco de Mayo brings.
I realize that this holiday is probably celebrated more by people who are not of Mexican heritage than those that are, but I guess that is why I feel comfortable celebrating it.
I don't usually like working with bright bold colors, but for this occasion I pull out all the stops.
I see that I messed up my forks in this photo!!
Some days you think you have it all together, then you notice that the flatware is all crooked,
that was before I had any margaritas!

If you like these bright colors - you may like some of my past Cinco de Mayo Tables:

I have this sudden craving for chips and salsa!
I hope you have fun celebrating too.

Thanks for stoping by,
Ann

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  1. I love all the peppers as a centerpiece! Their pretty colors complement the colors in the dish stack and play off the colorful linens. What a fun celebration you will have!

  8. Fantastic! You have put together a terrific tablescape for the occasion. Even the colour of your tabletop seems a perfect backdrop for the bold placemats, napkins and dishes. Being that Cinco de Mayo falls on a Friday, I think there might be cause for more than one margarita! Enjoy!
