Spring Blooms Table

Things are really starting to bloom around us,
So I am celebrating with a Spring Blooms Tablescape!
I love this time of year when the greenhouses and nurseries are overflowing with beautiful flowers.
I could spend all day looking at all the different types of flowers.
I am not a great gardener, but I love puttering and trying to grow pretty things!
Although these flowers look a little more pink in the photos, honestly they match the plates beautifully!!
I thought I would have some fun using a paisley table cloth, along with checked and polka dot napkins.
I liked the look of the bamboo flatware with this combination, a little bit different texture.
Since we have done a major renovation on this house, we are in the process of digging new flower beds and doing some landscaping projects.  If they end up looking nice I will share them with you.  If  they end up being a something not so good - you may never see our attempt at landscaping!!

We have been having some very pleasant weather lately, I hope you are as well.

Thanks for stopping by!

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  1. I love flowers too! This is such a wonderful time of year. Austin is at it's best in the spring. Thanks for sharing your blooming table. I love all the textures.

  2. This is a wonderful time of year isn't it! Your plates are so pretty and I like how you set the flatware on the dish. Love the paisley tablecloth and polka dots are always a cheerful addition! I'm sure your outdoor plantings will turn out great! Happy Spring!

  3. I like your combinations of colors and different textures - THANKS for posting!

  4. Your combination of color and texture is so appealing and perfect for the time of year. Looking at your table made me smile.

  5. So pretty!! Love the double napkins, rattan chargers and just all the layers. It's wonderful!

  6. I'm with you, I absolutely LOVE seeing all of the plants and flowers everywhere. I particularly like the independent stands that pop up all over town selling flowers. I can't resists a one of them, so am usually overflowing with plants. Your table is darling. I love the floral plates, and those cute napkins, paired beautifully. It appears we have similar tastes in flatware. I have a set of bamboo-handled ones as well. They seem so right for the nature-inspired tables. Have a great week!
