Spring Blooms Table

Things are really starting to bloom around us,
So I am celebrating with a Spring Blooms Tablescape!
I love this time of year when the greenhouses and nurseries are overflowing with beautiful flowers.
I could spend all day looking at all the different types of flowers.
I am not a great gardener, but I love puttering and trying to grow pretty things!
Although these flowers look a little more pink in the photos, honestly they match the plates beautifully!!
I thought I would have some fun using a paisley table cloth, along with checked and polka dot napkins.
I liked the look of the bamboo flatware with this combination, a little bit different texture.
Since we have done a major renovation on this house, we are in the process of digging new flower beds and doing some landscaping projects.  If they end up looking nice I will share them with you.  If  they end up being a something not so good - you may never see our attempt at landscaping!!

We have been having some very pleasant weather lately, I hope you are as well.

Thanks for stopping by!
Ann

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  6. I'm with you, I absolutely LOVE seeing all of the plants and flowers everywhere. I particularly like the independent stands that pop up all over town selling flowers. I can't resists a one of them, so am usually overflowing with plants. Your table is darling. I love the floral plates, and those cute napkins, paired beautifully. It appears we have similar tastes in flatware. I have a set of bamboo-handled ones as well. They seem so right for the nature-inspired tables. Have a great week!
