Robin Egg Blue Table

You can tell it's spring here when the birds are busy building their nests.  This prompted my
Robin Egg Blue Table
Since I never got to use my white cracked eggs for my Easter table I thought I would put them to use here while I reused the willow branches from my Easter table.
I love these basket weave dishes from Oneida.  I love the texture, plus they
are just a little smaller than most plates, so they make good stacking plates.
I grabbed a really old bird house I have had for years and repainted the roof with a little robin egg blue paint, I still wanted some of the dark to show through so it would contrast a little more with the cream color of the house.
I think the table looks really nice with my plate racks on the kitchen wall.
We had a nice thunderstorm last night, another sure sign of spring!
I hope you are enjoying the warmer weather this time of year brings.

Thanks for stopping by!
Ann

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.
