What a wonderful thing to look at all you have to be Thankful for! No matter all the negative things going on in this world today, I have so much that I am grateful and blessed to be graced with.
We are celebrating Thanksgiving with our group of talented women and ourTablescaping Blog Hop today. Much thanks goes out to our leader, Rita from Panoply.
There will be links to all of the participating table stylist's blogs at the bottom of my post. This will give you the inspiration to get your turkey day a gobbling!

Thanksgiving has always been a time to reflect on what I am so appreciative of, most of which are not material things. Some of the things that come to mind are the love of my children, the laughter of my grandsons, the wet kiss of my dog, the sun that peers through my windows in the morning, the ability to take a beautiful walk through the park. I am grateful for all of these things and more which is the reason I like to celebrate this day!
We gather, we feast,
We laugh and we may even cry,
but mostly we love and appreciate.
Speaking of being appreciated- or rather unappreciated - I guess - are the poor turkeys who strut their stuff just to be stuffed with dressing
and served up to be the main dish!
A silly thing I am thankful for is that I now live closer to a grocery store that actually has decent fresh flowers for sale!! (It is the little things in life that thrill me!!) So I picked up a sleeve of spider mums and one of mixed button mums, added some faux ferns and leafy stems and arranged them in some small wood bowls to place with my textured pumpkins for a centerpiece.
Since my centerpiece is pretty busy, I kept my placesettings pretty simple. .The large gauzy pumpkin print napkins and the leather like weaved placemats were from a trip to HomeSense. Then I walked two stores down to a Kirklands where they had these scalloped rust colored edge plates on clearance. Guess it was just meant to be!
As promised, here are all the links to more Thanksgiving tables:

This plate was just screaming for a piece of pumpkin pie!!
I hope your Thanksgiving is like a slice a pumpkin pie with whip cream and sprinkles on top!
Enjoy!!
Ann, Your Thanksgiving table centerpiece is beautiful! I love the organic nature of it with the pumpkins and Indian corn tucked in among the tree slice chargers. Having a grocery store nearby with decent flowers is indeed a thing to be thankful for…my kingdom for a Trader Joe’s. 😊 I love the carefree knotting of your gauzy pumpkin print napkins on your plates. Your slice of pumpkin pie is the perfect ending and finishing touch! As always, it’s a treat to have a virtual seat at the table. Happy November! 🦃🧡
ReplyDeleteAnn, the Thanksgiving centerpiece is beautiful. Like Mary said I love the organic nature of it all. I haven’t seen those plates at Kirklands, but they make a handsome addition to your Tablescape. It is 60 miles to the nearest Trader Joe’s. It is hard to find great flowers in our grocery stores here. The pumpkin pie slice looks delicious. Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving season 🧡🍂
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, I love your festive table with those pretty plates from Kirklands --wish I had one nearby and I confess to TJ envy because like Pam, I'm also 60+ miles away from a store! They really do have the best flowers! I agree with you that it is so important to be mindful of our blessings. Happy November!
ReplyDeleteAnn, this is lovely. Those gauzy knotted napkins are a fabulous look, especially the way you have styled them. I need to remember this! Love, love, love the rusty edged scalloped plates. Great find! Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Ann! I love the Fall colors and all the contrasting textures that make up your centerpiece. The napkins are perfect and wow, the pumpkin pie is calling my name! It looks so fabulous on that plate! Yes, we have so much to be thankful for and the little things are the big things~ I hope you have a very blessed Thanksgiving gathered with people you love~

What a pretty table, Ann, with a nice neutral tone overall. Those scalloped plates are perfectly matched to your napkins and mats! We don't have Home Sense (I guess Home Goods is the comparable?), or Kirkland's here where I live (we used to), but I like it. I'm wondering if your turkeys are wood or resin? They look so much easier to store than colorful ceramics! I tend to weigh decisions like that when looking at decor, then always reasoning ceramics can be sold after using one or two seasons, lol. Your floral arrangement is very nice, and you can't even tell what's faux.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving season to you, Ann. We are all very blessed, indeed.
Ann, your Thanksgiving table is lovely. I love the warmth and coziness of it all. The scalloped plates looks so pretty with those knotted gauzy napkins. How fun you have a grocery store closer with fresh florals. Your centerpiece is beautiful. Kirklands has some great sales. I love shopping Home Goods, probably similar to Home Sense. Pumpkin pie looks rather tasty. Being thankful for the little things is so important. Blessings to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteLinda, HomeSense is in the HomeGoods, TJMaxx family. It has more furniture and rugs - bigger pieces than HomeGoods and Marshalls . There are not very many of them around.
DeleteAnn, your centerpiece is simply stunning with the pumpkins, turkeys, and gorgeous flowers - how great is it that you are closer to a grocery store with decent flowers! I love the gauzy napkins tied in a knot and so pretty paired with the rust-edged scalloped salad plates, sitting in the weaved placemats. Even better when they were on clearance. That last photo with the pumpkin pie has my mouth watering. It was great to hop with you and wishing you a most wonderful Thanksgiving season!
ReplyDeleteAnn, Your Thanksgiving table centerpiece is lovely! I especially enjoyed the organic nature of the pumpkins and Indian corn and the tree slice chargers. I love the knotting of your gauzy pumpkin print napkins. Your pumpkin pie is the perfect ending and finishing touch! Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🧡🍁🦆🦃🍂
ReplyDeleteAnn, I love your exuberant centerpiece! It really speaks to the harvest season of plenty. I like that you used the tree chargers in the way you did. I've often thought of getting them but just didn't click with them as a base for a plate stack. Now I know! Your place settings continue the natural theme in a lovely way. And the pumpkin slice makes it complete! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty table! Like the dishes too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling table Ann! I love your textured pumpkins that add so much interest to your wonderful centerpiece. The flowers are perfect – so nice that you’re now closer to a good flower store! 😊 And don’t you love it when your shopping trips are so successful? Sounds like you had a great one! I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving – so nice hopping with you!
ReplyDeleteThose textured pumpkins in your centerpiece are wonderful, Ann. Love how the neutral tones create such a serene setting. The variation in height works well as do the wooden slabs. the flowers are beautiful and add lovely color to the table. I particularly like the orange rimmed plates especially with the pumpkin pie. Great napkins! Thanks for sharing this table with all of us. Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving!
