Gone Fishing Bundle - Father's Day Cards

The fun Gone Fishing Stamp Set and Dies make a great set for masculine birthday cards as well as Father's Day Cards.  I am sharing a couple of cards I made for some special dads!

The first card uses two pieces of DSP from the coordinating paper pack Let's Go Fishing 12"X 12" DSP and Pebbled Path Card Stock.  I cut the letters for Dad with the Alphabet A la Mode Dies.
The Fish are from one of the DSP sheets, one is fussy cut and the other cut with a coordinating die from the Gone Fishing Bundle.  I added a few of the Pebbled Path dots from the 2023-2025 In Color Dots to finish the card off.

The second card uses the new background stamp - Sketched Plaid.  I stamped Crumb Cake Cardstock with Crumb Cake Ink to get a soft but masculine look.  I think I found my new favorite background stamp!!
The cute fly fishing paper is again from the Let's Go Fishing DSP pack.  The card base and DSP mat is Blueberry Bushel Cardstock.  The lures are stamped and the fly feather is colored with Stampin' Blends and cut with coordinating dies. The sentiment circles were cut with the Stylish Shapes dies, I popped these up with some dimensionals after I adhered a loop of twine.

These cards can easily be made as birthday cards for your favorite fisherman!

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.
