Way to Grow Stamp Set

Are you a plant person?  The Way to Grow Stamp set is perfect for that plant lover in your life!

The Way To Grow Stamp Set is from the January- April 2023 Mini Catalog.
It is a stand alone stamp perfect for any green thumb friend.

There are two hairstyles to make the girl carrying the plants.  I chose the shorter curly hair for this card.  I fussy cut some of the plants and pots and popped them up.  I made a mistake on her shirt when I was coloring it with my Stampin' Blends and tried to color it a different color and this was what I ended up with!!  I thought it looked very organic!!  Sometimes mistakes are good!

I used the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder for the background and distressed it a bit with my blending brushes and some Soft Suede and also Whisper White Ink.

The Split Card Textures die was used for the background on this card.  I also used the hexagon shaped die from the Beautiful Shapes dies to make a little pocket hanging plant holder.
All of the plants and pots on this card are from the Way to Grow Stamp set.  I just stamped out a bunch of plants, fussy cut them and then made several different  cards with all of my potted plants.

Here is another version - this time using the girl with the longer hair.  This one would remind me of my daughter except for the fact that she can't keep a plant alive to save her life!!  πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…πŸ˜„ She is the first to admit it!! That's ok - she has many more wonderful qualities and talents!!
I used the Stitched Greenery Die for the back ground on this one.  I also used my Water Painters for the ground and did a little ink splatter for my scene background.

I hope you enjoyed seeing some different cards made with this set!
