Dreaming of a Christmas White and Sweet - Christmas Tablescape Hop

What is better than a white Christmas filled with sweet treats and friends and family to share it with?

It's that time of the year where I join my blogging friends for a Christmas Table Hop!
So put on some Christmas music and sit back with a cup of cocoa and check out all the different Christmas tables!!  All of the links to the other creative table stylists are at the end of my post.

My table is set with lots of Gingerbread and snowflakes this year.

I was inspired by this sort of nordic print table runner.  It gave me visions of snow covered houses mixed with candy canes.  So I pulled out my candy cane striped dishes I bought several years ago at Pier 1 - oh, how I miss that store!!

I had a couple of beautiful gingerbread ornaments with just plain white icing decorations on them and search the world over for a few more - this ended up not being so easy - not the trend this year - but I finally found some gingerbread men that would do the trick.  This little guy is not as fancy or detailed as the house and the snowflake but he has a big heart - so he will do!

I added a little candy cane refreshment to my goblets,
just giving my guests a little extra Christmas Cheer!
A little gingerbread village that almost looks like the town square sits in the middle of the table as my centerpiece.

Almost as quaint as a Hallmark Movie!
And if you look ever so closely in the next photo - you will see more Gingerbread houses on my hutch.
ok - they were demanding more attention - here is a closer look at those!
Now that you have taken a stroll through my Gingerbread Village - how about checking out all of the other Christmas Tablescapes in the Hop?!!  Here are all the links to see much more Christmas cheer:

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  1. Ann, Your Gingerbread Village table may be my favorite Christmas table of yours! I love your collection of gingerbread houses, paired with the candy cane stripe plates on your table and tartan plaid in your hutch. Your Nordic print runner provides the perfect foundation for your table and I love how you used the snow-dusted board as a centerpiece. Your ‘Reindeer Sleigh Rides’ sign is so festive on your mantel too. As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Merry December❣️πŸŽ„

Lovely to visit with you today. Merry Christmas!

  8. What a charming, festive and inviting holiday tablescape! I love your gingerbread theme and how you created the little village centerpiece. Those ornaments are adorable --- and tasty lol! I frequently do a gingerbread wrapping theme and am always looking for similar ornaments to tie onto packages. Funny how we both lamented the closing of Pier 1! Such a pretty, sweet table. Merry Christmas Ann!

  13. Ann I have to agree with the other ladies...We want Pier 1! We want Pier 1! We want Pier 1! Oh, I guess Pier 1 is not listening! LOL
Now about your beautiful gingerbread houses and table. Gingerbread is definitely in my must haves at Christmas. The wonderful aromas and smells that come from my grandmother, mother and aunts' kitchens before me... bring sweet memories. Now I must always bake gingerbread cookies and cakes at the Holidays. Sooooo just to ket you know, I really like your tablescape and would love to pull up a chair at your table. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
