Fall Tablescape - Autumn Gnome - Blog Hop 2022

Welcome to my fall table with my little Gnome friends!!

I am participating in the Fall Tablescape Blog Hop hosted by Rita from Panoply.

All of the links to the other talented table stylists will be at the end of this post for you to get lots of fall inspiration from!
I wanted to do a table with lots of autumn colors since we put on a beautiful foliage show every fall, here in Ohio.  I must have been in a quirky mood on my trip into Hobby Lobby when I picked up these cute little Gnome plates. Just so you know - I truly am not a huge gnome lover and do not have gnomes all over my house!!
But these plates do make me smile!!  And I had just purchased a new gnome stamp set from Stampin' Up! and I just thought that these would be perfect for each other, so in the cart they went.
I pulled out one of my favorite paisley tablecloths, full of yellows, oranges and rusts with a grey base to use with these fun plates.  Next out of my stash was the very textured dyed seagrass placemats.

The orange/rust textured border plates I purchased this year along with the Gnome plates at Hobby Lobby.
The twig flatware has been around for a while, I believe these are from World Market about 8 to 9 years ago. The napkins were purchased at my favorite store in Amish Country - called the Peddler.  They were having a 50% off of all linens a couple of weeks ago - I didn't even have the plates yet - but with my love for plaids, I knew I would be able to put them to good use!
I gathered up my bark candles, mushrooms (which I used previously - here) and a mish mash of old faux fall foliage and two little gnome candles I picked up at HomeGoods last week.  After fiddling around with them for a bit I came up with this arrangement in an old bark tray for my centerpiece.

As I mentioned above, I had just purchased the Kindest Gnomes stamp and die set from Stampin' Up! so I made some little favors to go with the place settings.
I used the Peekaboo Treat Bags, and the Gingham Cottage paper for my favors.
I decorated my tags with some gnomes that I colored with my Stampin' Blends and added a sunflower for the girl gnome and a leaf for my boy gnome.  These are just big enough to fit about 8 Hershey Kisses and have a gusseted bottom so that they stand on their own.

This table was all about the colors and the leaves to honor our beautiful seasonal nature show when all the trees start changing colors here.  It is my favorite time of the year - when things start to cool down, the air is crisp, the smell of campfires and s'mores linger and the talk of football stirs the conversations! So I tried to carry some of that through to my sideboard as well.

As promised, here are all the links to more Fall Tablescapes for you to enjoy!
I hope you can find sometime to sit and relax and enjoy looking at each of these tables and get lots of inspiration for your fall decorating.

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  1. Ann, I always look forward to how you carry your table theme over to your mantle, kitchen and Stamping Up! favors. The gnome favors and plates are adorable, I had to chuckle at your disclaimer: “I truly am not a huge gnome lover and do not have gnomes all over my house!!” 😊 Your paisley tablecloth is a beauty and I love your wood tray overflowing with your candles, leaves and gnomes too. As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you, Happy September ♥

  2. Those gnomes are cute. The rust and paisley have a wonderful autumn vibe.

  3. Well, you are certainly all ready for fall! Great table and the gnome plates are cute! Love your leaf garland, too. Happy Autumn!

  4. Ann, you are always so creative with your tables and mantel! I love the gnome plates and don’t own anything gnome, but the plates are adorable. Your favors are so cute with the Stamping Up gnomes. The paisley tablecloth is a beauty for the autumn season. It is a pleasure to blog hop with you. Happy Fall!

  5. Super cute, Ann! And just the right amount of gnomes added to the solid plate and charger and that classy tablecloth and plaid napkins. The napkins were a great purchase from your Amish Peddler! Your favors are adorable. I love the centerpiece too. I saw those candles at HG - too cute to burn! Being a neighboring state to us, I know Ohio puts on a wonderful show of fall color, as do we. It's beautiful thing to witness, and to live in it even better. Thanks for bringing your fun table talent to the blog hop.

  6. Hi Ann! Happy almost autumn. Your gnome table theme is darling and so festive! Pinned! Blessings, Ceciila @My Thrift Store Addiction

  7. Ann, I love how you've decorated your entire room. Everything is so cute! I'm sending a link to this post to my daughter who loves all things gnomes....She will appreciate your tablescape! The tablecloth looks like it was made to match the gnome plates considering the colors on them. The centerpiece is a nice compliment, and so are the party favors. NICE touch. Your tablescape is so cheerful. I love it!

  8. Ann, your gnome plates make me smile too. Such a cute theme for a fall table. As always I appreciate the little party favors you always create. The plate stack is so pretty. I love seeing how you decorate your mantel and sideboard. It all flows perfectly. A pleasure hopping along with you.

  9. Ann, I think your little gnome plates are adorable and look great on your paisley cloth. Your centerpiece, napkins, plate stack and glasses, all add texture and color to your table. Your mantle looks decorated too.
I have not pulled out my fall decor yet. It is so hot here it seems like full summer!

  10. It is hard to resist cute little gnomes! I’m crazy about your bark tray centerpiece and how you tucked gnomes into that too along with lovely fall textures and elements. You are all set to enjoy fall with this fun table with matching mantel and peek-a-boo treat bags! I always leave with a smile on my face after visiting with you Ann!

  11. Bee careful Ann, those gnomes look very comfortable and at home amongst the bark candles and mushrooms in your centerpiece -- they might tell their friends to move in too lol! It's such a fun, whimsical setting with your classic paisley print tablecloth (beautiful!) and plaid napkins. Your hand-crafted guest favors (love those tags!) couldn't be more adorable.

  12. Ann, I'd say you have just right touch of gnomes! Your table delights from the gorgeous paisley linen to the centerpiece tray filled with fall goodness to the whimsical plate stack. Great job! Love the bark napkin rings. I'm a fan of textures and this table does not disappoint. Happy Autumn!

  14. How unique Ann....your gnomes are so cute, starting with your gnome plates. Adorable. The napkins were a great find and that you were able to use them in this tablescape is like icing on the cake. I always look for your cute party favors and you did not disappoint. I would love to be a guest at your table. Happy Autumn to you and your family.

  15. Anne, this is a fun and colorful table for fall. I enjoyed the gnomes set down among the wood pieces and the paisley cloth.
    Happy fall to you,

  16. How cute your artwork on the wall is! It sets the scene for your fall table right off the bat! I am not a big gnome lover either, but these are adorable plates. I actually really love the texture and color of your dinner plates. They are just lovely and look so great on that tablecloth which is perfect for the season! I think I have the same pattern but in blues. it would be nice to have it in these fall colors, also! Happy September!

  17. Lovely textures and mix of colors that captures the sights of fall! I was struck by the layering of your plaid napkins against the dinner plates -- a perfect tonal match! And of course being a crystal and glass lover, I fell for your goblets. Have a great week!
