Posted For You Note Cards

I needed to send some thank you notes and I was thrilled with a couple of the Posted For You notes that I mixed with the Pierced Bloom Dies, that I thought I would share them with you!

These are note card sized so the bases are 7" by 5" cardstock,  scored at  3 1/2"  on the long side and folded in half to make a 3 1/2"  X 5" note card.

This first one has a Pool Party Base with a 3 1/4" by 4 3/4" Basic White pieces that is stamped.

  • I stamped the script writing with the Very Versailles stamp set in Gray Granite ink
  •  also stamped the special delivery circles from Posted For You set with the Gray Granite ink
  • Then I had fun cutting out various scraps of pastel color cardstock with the Pierced Bloom Dies and adhered them with liquid glue in a cluster and spilling some of the smaller flowers off to the edges.
  • I twisted some Baker's Twine (mine was retired -Silver & Petal Pink) in two big loops and adhered it with a glue dot.
  • Using the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, Basic White Cardstock, stamped with Momento Ink - I made my "stamp"  and colored it with my Stampin' Blends and adhered it with Dimensionals.
  • You can't really tell in this photo, but I sprayed it with a combination of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and alcohol in my Stampin' Spritzer for a nice little shimmery effect. (I use three drops small drops of Shimmer paint and half the spritzer full of alcohol and shake it up real good.)

For this note card I used a white base and a Seaside Spray background (in these photos the color of Seaside Spray is coming across a bit brighter than it really is).   I stamped my script with VersaMark and used white Stampin' Emboss Powder and hit it with my heat tool to raise the white embossing powder.
Everything else is basically the same - plain white Bakers Twine and some smaller flowers - with cute little gem centers!

I used a few of the small flowers from the Arrange A Wreath that I had in my flower stash - I like to take my little scraps of cardstock and try to squeeze out as much as I can with them - so I will take some of the small dies and cut random things - like flowers and leaves out of the little leftover pieces and stash them away in a clear envelope to use anytime I want to add a little something to a card.

I hope you enjoyed these little note cards!
