Stampin' Up! Simply Succulents

I am featuring the Stampin' Up! Simply Succulents Bundle today!  This bundle will be available for all to purchase on January 5th when the new Mini Catalog becomes active.

This is a very special die set because it contains a full card die.  I used it here as the background for this card.  But that is not the only die in this set - there are 13 dies all together, which will make for many different combinations for a variety of looks.

I colored my succulents with the Stampin' Blends.  What is nice about coloring these is that you can just keep layering different colors until you get the desired look.  There is no right or wrong colors with the succulents - I even used a bit of blue in them.

My card base is Soft Seafoam  and the die cut overlay is Pear Pizzaz Card Stock.  I used Calypso Coral for the pot and shaded the pot with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends.  Whisper White and  Purple Posey rectangles are the background of the succulent pot.  The trailing succulents are cut from Pear Pizzaz and Old Olive Cardstock. I popped up the small succulent in the front with some dimensionals, tied a bow with some Linen Thread and secured it with a Mini Glue Dot. The sentiment is stamped in Pear Pizzaz ink and popped that up with dimensionals as well.

I hope you enjoyed this card!

There are many new sets coming out  January 5th along with Sale-A-Bration!!  Stampin' Up! is offering quite a few nice Designer Series Papers, along with stamp sets for free with purchases in this Sale-a-bration catalog.  You won't want to miss the Berry offerings!!  The paper is adorable!  I will be featuring that in my next post!!

If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and you need a catalog - let me know!  I will be happy to help you.

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.
