Stampin' Dreams October Blog Hop - Halloween Card

Welcome to the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop where we are showing off our Halloween projects this month!  I am Ann Krucek, from Malvern, Ohio USA.

I made my spooky little cat card from the Ghoulish Goodies stamp set.
I used the Cobwebs 3D embossing folder for the background.  I inked up the raised pattern on the inside of the embossing folder with Black Momento ink and ran a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic Gray cardstock through my Cut and Emboss machine.  It is hard to tell from this photo, but there is a lot of texture to the background as well as the pattern of the cob webs.

The edges of my black and purple band are just torn by hand to add a little bit of grunge to it!
I colored in the cat's eyes and collar with the Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend Marker.
I love the new Metallic Mesh Ribbon!  It's definitely not just for Halloween - I will be using it on some Christmas things this year as well!!

Here are the supplies I used:
These supplies can be found on my online store 24/7.
As always, I am here to help!  so let me know if you have any questions.

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  2. Great card - love the effect of inking up an embossing folder before running it through the die cut machine

  3. Love the use of the embossing folder on this card, so musch texture with the tearing of the card, it really does give it a spooky effect.
