Easter Tablescape - Bunny Mischief - Tablescape Hop

Welcome to my Easter Table.
During these uncertain times, I pray that you all remain safe and calm.  May we take this time and reflect on all that is good and help each other through it.
I am so thankful for all that I have and this platform on which to connect with other people through.
I am joining Chloe Crabtree, from Celebrate and Decorate, and many other fabulous table stylists for her Easter Tablescape Hop.

Since we are in the midst of this pandemic and shopping was definitely out of the question, I had to make due with what I had on hand.
I used my Rae Dunn Easter Bunny Plates that I have had for several years.  They are fun little plates with the bunny ears popping up or down, any which way!
But this Wheel Barrel is new - I picked this up at Marshalls right after Valentine's Day.  It was the first peek of Easter I had seen in the stores - so I grabbed it up - thinking that I better get it while I can, never thinking that it would be because I would not be out shopping again.
I think I picked these little Rae Dunn egg cups up last year- knowing that I had already had the plates that went with them.  I took a cue from Mary@Home is Where the Boat Is and filled my egg cups with little chocolate treats.   You may notice - There is not a chocolate bunny in each cup - I didn't have enough - normally - I would just run out to the store to get more -but these are definitely not normal times.  The flowered foil wrapped chocolate eggs were supposed to be for a fund raiser I was putting on in March that had to be cancelled - So I used them on my table.
An early trip to Hobby Lobby scored me the table cloth, pink chargers and that adorable bunny head on the mantel with the spectacles!  I was supposed to be shopping for craft supplies for that fund raiser- but of course, I got sidetracked.  I'm like a raccoon that sees shiny things!!
The tulips are faux.  I am so glad I had these!  There is no way I would have been able to get fresh tulips now.
I hope you like to hop just as much as these bunnies on my kitchen island -because we have a whole batch of fresh new Easter Table inspiration for you to browse through!

I have a feeling many of our Easter's are going to be celebrated much differently this year.  I just hope we can continue to come together as a nation to care just a little more about the people around us and just maybe the new "normal" will be a little more kind and caring.

Have a blessed Easter.

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  1. Ann, You have blessed me this morning! I love your pink Easter table. The plate stack is so eye-catching. I will be pinning for sure. I love the pattern napkin and coordinating plates. What a neat find the Easter wheelbarrow was and good to have just the right faux tulips. I especially love your etched goblet. It speaks to me and shines on your table. The egg cups were creative stuffed with candy and decorative eggs. I do not have any Easter plates! Maybe I will find some later on.
You are so right it is good to have our group to connect with. I appreciate your blogging friendship.
    Happy Easter.

  6. Ann, your table is adorable! Those Rae Dunn plates are really cute, and so are the tablecloth and chargers. I LOVE those napkins! I would've never guessed the obstacles you mentioned in assembling your table, although you're certainly right in how would we have ever known back in even late February that we'd not be shopping in the last couple weeks for non-essentials? When you mentioned not having enough chocolate bunnies, I thought you were going to say it was because you ate them, lol! That's what's happened to my carrots, bunnies and M&M eggs on my table, lol. It's always so fun to see your tables, and this one is too. Have a safe Easter. Let's #flattenthecurve!

  16. Ann, a charming table that brought a great big smile on my face --- a little ray of sunshine on another grey afternoon here. I especially love the centerpiece you created --- and you would have fooled me, I thought the tulips were real. And, those chocolate bunnies. I have a small collection of faux ones and love yours --- or are they real?
