Peace Love and Gingerbread Tablescape

I decided to go a little whimsy and do a Peace Love & Gingerbread Tablescape for the Christmas Tablescape Blog Hop hosted by Chloe Crabtree.

Chloe, at Celebrate & Decorate, has put together another great hop this Christmas.
This one is specifically for Christmas Tablescapes.
There are 26 talented ladies participating in this hop, all of the links are at the end of my post.

We have been busy doing a lot of baking in the last few days, so I have cookies on the brain.
For some reason Peace Love and Gingerbread kept going through my mind, so I ran with it.
Those are some of the gingerbread men that we baked in the centerpiece, although, no longer edible since I glued them to a skewer I painted white!
I had fun with lots of candy cane stripes and I threw in a few polkadots for good measure.
These cute little gingerbread houses are ornaments, I can't take credit for making them!
I also didn't make the gingerbread men hugging my mugs!
But they are edible!!
My mantle is decked out with Gingerbread as well.  If you want to see more of the mantle go to my previous post- Christmas Home Tour.
So, Peace Love and Gingerbread to all of you!
Enjoy this holiday season by being kind to the person in front of you and behind you in line at the stores!!  I try to print out extra coupons, if I can (like Micheals, Joann Fabrics, Bath and Body Works Etc)  and hand them out in line.

You will find more wonderful Tablescapes at the following blogs:

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  3. I am completely drawn to the whimsy of your Christmas table. I am rather partial to gingerbread myself and those cute little gingerbread houses are precious. There is just something about the whole table, the colours, the dishes, and of course the gingerbread that make me believe this could be how Mrs. Claus herself would set the table at the North Pole!!

  4. Ann, I absolutely love your gingerbread themed Tablescape! Candy cane stripes and polka dots say this is a fun table. Your plate stack topped with gingerbread house ornament is perfect! My 32 year old son and I have a tradition that began when he was 2 of making gingerbread men, so your Tablescape pulls at my heart strings! It is fun blog hopping with you and wishing you the peace and joy of Christmas!

  5. Oh, Ann, I am giddy with delight at this tablescape! I just think those little cookies you've made and bought to decorate with are perfect little guys to hang out with your color scheme and theme. It all just pops with cuteness on every turn. That arrangement in the striped pitcher is just adorable, as are the ornaments topping the plate stack. The mantel in the background completes the scene. Really great execution. LOVE!

Pinning and hope it works. I had trouble with Pinterest working yesterday.

  15. Ahh, that's just plain sweet and whimsical and happy. You can never ever go wrong with a gingerbread house for Christmas. I'm fill-in-the-blank years old and I STILL love them!

I'm really fond of the decorations you did inside the pitcher, too. That's really incredibly cute, especially with the pitcher being candy-cane striped.

  18. What could be better at Christmas than Peace, Love and Gingerbread!!? You've done a great job creating a tablescape to fit that theme. The gingerbread items are so cute and make my mouth water thinking of the edible kind. The red and white dish stack with the pop of blue is so pretty. Love those lace chargers and the striped napkins coordinate wonderfully with the little pitcher. Such a fun tablescape and I'm definitely inspired to spread some love and peace around - maybe someone will give me gingerbread in return :) Enjoyed my stop here on the Blog Hop!
