Ann @ Corner of Plaid and Paisley
My mother was a fabulously talented sewer and I inherited her love for fabric. In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name. I am also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Welcome

Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. What started as a creative outlet is now my full time passion. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I have a wonderful supportive family; a great husband, three kids, and one grandchild. We bought a fixer upper on a small lake several years ago and are having fun updating it. Thanks for stopping by :)

Love all the gold and different patterns of it! The paisley tablecloth makes a wonderful backdrop to the sparkly dishware and accents on the table. The plaid and houndstooth mugs are fantastic - no wonder you couldn't decide. Best wishes for 2018 Ann!
ReplyDeleteI love all the gold including the candles. The coffee cups are quite beautiful and the clock just finishes it. A veery pretty table.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and special table for bringing in a new year! I'm crushing over each detail. I love using gold and white for a celebration. I have some pretty ruffled gold dinner plates and would love to find some gold star salad plates as accents. Pinning this for inspiration!

This is so fun and fabulous Ann! You have really captured the feeling of an elegant New Year's celebration, and I love your philosophy of celebrating the ups! The mixed mugs are simply wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Well, I'm glad to have a 2nd chance to see this one! I missed it because I had surgery on the 5th or 6th (who can remember when you're crazy with pain?) and was still all drugged up by the New Year! I barely knew my own name!!! I hope that the posting of your 10 Favorites brings about a surge of views and comments for this beautiful tablescape that would be a shame to miss! I am trying to think if I have ever seen such a pretty houndstooth coffee cup in my life?!! Something about the gold and white as opposed to the more traditional black & white...gorgeous! Who am I kidding...EVERYTHING looks better in glitzy metallics!!! (Except teeth. I am not a fan of shiny metallic teeth!) Happy New Year 4 months late!!!
