Hayrides and Pumpkin Patches Tablescape

Hayrides and Pumpkin Patches are my two favorite fall excursions!
This tablescape pays homage to them both.
When I saw these trucks at Target - I knew right away one was coming home with me!
How cute does he look all filled with mini pumpkins?!
We were headed to a corn maize that night with a group of friends,
so I was inspired to set
this table as a little pumpkin patch complete with some hay bales for the hayride.
When I went through my stash of plates, I was surprised I did not have a single plate with pumpkins on it!!!  Of course that prompted a trip to Pier 1 Imports for the salad plates with the assorted pumpkins and gourds.  The little leaf garland I had set the color palette.
I pulled out some very old  striped placemats and layered the textured cream colored mats with them.
I had bought the amber glasses years ago at World Market when I first started tablescaping.
I just love this time of year, so it this was a fun table to set.
We had a blast on our hayride to the corn maize!
I hope you are able to get out and pick some pumpkins or enjoy a hayride.

  2. I think this t'scape is just adorable and especially for this time of year! The way you've arranged the truck with the pumpkins and cute little hay bales as the centerpiece is perfect. You've coordinated the rest of the tableware wonderfully as well. Pinned!

  3. Such a fun tablescape! I can hardly remember when last I rode a hay wagon! (This truck is much cuter!) The salad plates are so pretty - I love that they look like watercolor paintings.

  4. What a fun table! I love the old truck, and it's perfect for hauling pumpkins, hay, or whatever you want to design around a tablescape. Christmas trees, too. I have an old VW bus that I used for hauling a Christmas tree on a tablescape a while back, but somehow that doesn't fit with pumpkins. May need to get a truck :-) I love your table, Ann!

  5. Great Fall Tablescape! Your truck centerpiece is the perfect touch for the hayride motif. All the hues of fall are found in the dinnerware and accessories. Happy Autumn!

  7. This is so cute Ann! I have resisted several old pick up trucks this past year, I keep telling myself I don't need more stuff! But you will have a lot of fun with yours and the darling new plates! How much fun to go on a real hayride and visit a corn maize!
