Spring Garden Tablescape - Orange and Moss

Welcome to my Spring Garden Tablescape.
Mr. and Mrs. Bunny have been busy working in their garden.
At least they have been able to work in the garden, we have had one nice day here so far.  I came down this morning and it was snowing.  Don't ever believe that groundhog when he says it is going to be an early spring!
I don't think Mrs. Bunny is too happy with him either, seems something has been rummaging through her flowers!
I am going to blame that broken pot on that groundhog who didn't seem to get his prediction right!
This beautiful April Cornell table cloth inspired the color scheme.
We were supposed to go out of town for the weekend last weekend and our plans got cancelled at the last minute.  But my husband surprised me with a day trip to the Fiesta Ware Outlet, great guy that he is!!  I picked up the orange luncheon plates, they were seconds that were on special for  $2.00 a plate.
Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Gorgeous garden setting! I love all the orange in it, it brought me immediately to your lovely post! The dishes are so pretty, with the napkin rings and the sweet and cheerful tablecloth brought it all together. Big hugs,

  3. So cute, love the potted cabbages and the bunnies scolding the ground hog. It's wonderful to see bunnies used other than Easter, they are such a symbol of Spring and the garden. I love your vignette with in a vignette with the pots on the tray. Very cute and fun!

  4. What a cute, cheerful table on a grey and orange are so vibrant together. I love your pair of bunnies.

  5. Great table - love the orange. It really sets the table off. Mr. and Mrs. Bunny are darling.

  6. I just saw this on Google+ and had to stop by! It looks wonderful!

I just posed about a very wonderful blogger who knows A LOT about Google+ so if you need advice about it you should say g'day to her!

  16. That orange really give this tablescape a fun punch in the arm. What a happy place to enjoy a springtime meal!

  17. Well butter my head and call me a biscuit! This is just about one of the CUTEST tables ever!!! Look at that centerpiece! How incredibly creative!!! It really takes on that special garden look. I love that even one of the pots is knocked over like it would be in real life! (Crazy groundhogs! Off with their heads!)

Hooray that you got to go to the FiestaWare outlet! I didn't know there was one! GREAT buy on the pretty plates. The orange is such a great color, and it works so well with the table linen you selected!!! Really works to bring out that secondary color!

It has been cold here, too, but today is nice with loads of wonderful sunshine. My mood is MUCH better when the sun is shining. Like The Hulk, you wouldn't want to see me when I'm angry and there's no sunshine! :-)

Have a terrific weekend, and thank you for sharing this incredibly creative table with us all!!! You BETCHA I'm gonna pin it, sister!!!

  18. This is so sweet! I love how your tablescape is depicting a whole story here! I really love your April Cornell tablecloth. I love all her designs. I also really like how you pulled out the coral tones with your plates, napkins and watering can. The color scheme and scene is so very appealing! Great setting!

  19. This has to be my favorite tablescape this week! For one thing, you have created a real garden with your centerpiece and the gardening bunnies are precious. The orange in the accessories are the perfect bright accent especially the watering can. The whole table is just amazing and I love every detail!

  20. How adorable! Looooove that tablecloth and the "story" the centerpiece tells. Pinned to my Artful Tables board -- and now following you on Pinterest too. thanks so much for sharing on Busy Monday!
